Nike Zoom Celar 4
Sanya Richards Ross wins gold wearing the Celar 4 during her 400m race at the London Olympics in 2012.
Date
Fall 2012
The Nike Zoom Celar 4 is a high-performance track and field sprint spike specifically designed for events ranging from the 100m to 400m. Known for its lightweight and versatile design, it was a staple in Nike's track lineup around 2012–2013 and remains a choice for sprinters who prefer a balance of flexibility and speed.
As the lead designer, I centered the design process on the elite female sprinter, leading insight sessions to translate the voice of the athlete into an Olympic Gold Medal-winning silhouette.
