The Nike Swoosh 1 is an innovative footwear solution specifically engineered to support natural foot development in infants and toddlers during their first steps. It is notably the first-ever Nike Kids shoe to earn the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance, a recognition that confirms the design promotes healthy foot growth.
As the lead innovator returning from maternity leave, I identified a white space in the Nike innovation portfolio and championed the expansion of Nike’s innovation lens. I established a modern benchmark for how Nike designs for toddlers, making early walker development a key priority for the Nike Kids brand.
